Filler post, and my sincerest apologies!

Hi my sugarplums :)

I sincerely apologise for my absenteeism from blogger! You wouldn't quite believe it but I managed to fracture my fibula a few weeks ago and have been living my life on crutches and in a moon boot! (an air cast in normal people's terms- not flattering at all)
So I had a lot of ideas for blog posts that I wanted to do, but obviously have not been able to, so expect a lot of posts in the coming few weeks. Albeit, due to the guilt about my slacker behaviour with my blog, there will be a post without or with the boot by the end of the week! (: I think I am getting my boot off on Tuesday, so I will have to show off my recent purchases and newly dyed red hair! (it's a bit darker now). My favourite purchase has been my seifuku (Japanese school uniform) I can't quite explain my affinity with these, but they are just so damn cute! I will post some poor quality pictures of it in this post. Also, my new onesie/kigurumi!

Here are just some filler photos (I know- I hate filler photos too, but I promise there will be some good quality photos soon!)
My inspiration for red hair! Mine is quite a bit more red and her's auburn, but it will wash out to about this colour :)

New dyed red hair (poor quality iPhone photo, I'm sorry!)

My seifuku that I got from Milanoo! I love it so much, expect a proper post about this soon

My  beautiful kigurumi! It's a blue otter :)

That's all for now guys :) I promise promise promise there will be a new, proper post soon! I love you all xx

You're turning violet, Violet

Hello! It's been awhile since I've done a post, sorry about that! Things have been quite hectic in my house of late, but everything is improving gradually. Uni has also been quite full on, but now I'm on mid semester break I thought it would be the perfect time to update you guys!

This is my first time having purchased one of the beautiful dresses from Pinup Girl Clothing! This is the Dee Dee Dress in Blue and Violet Floral by Pinup Couture. As it is now officially Spring- the flowers are in bloom and the weather is warming, I thought it would be extremely well fitting! The dress is so beautiful, it complements red/orangey hair so well. Not to mention, violet is my favourite colour! So as soon as I saw the picture of the model with orange hair (similar to mine) wearing it- I knew I just had to have it. I adore the Peter Pan collar and the whole dress is just incredibly well made. I think it's definitely my current favourite dress!

Today some of my relatives were in town so my house mates and I bought some delicious cakes from this amazing Chinese cake store. It was absolutely amazing! (so yummy) I know, I know, I'm a nutrition student- so sweets should be off the menu, right? Buuut, being able to treat yourself every once in awhile- it's all part of a balanced diet! So I indulged today. We used our beautiful Royal Albert china set and everything. it was an absolutely beautiful day, and I can't wait to order some more beautiful clothes!

The story of a murderer

Yesterday was amazing. Harlow did my hair and make up again. We went for a bit of a different style. Inspired by 1960's Brigitte Bardot and also Rachel Hurd-Wood in the 2006 film adaptation of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.

Rachel Hurd-Wood looks absolutely stunning with this red/orange hair, so much so that it inspired practically the whole photo shoot.
Dress: Lipsy
Headband: Equip

Obligatory Butterscotch picture, this is my beautiful baby who my blog title was inspired by, he's part Maine Coon, part Norwegian Forest Cat, he's perfect.

I don't know how many of you have read this book, but as with most Penguin books, it is a timeless classic. Very peculiar story line, but in a good way. I'd recommend it.

But anyway, I had just finished doing one of the more challenging exams I have had to do this semester for Medical Physiology, so I was in the mood for celebrating. I ended up going out and watching the 1953 Marilyn Monroe classic How to Marry a Millionaire with a close friend of mine and then went out for a night on the town. It was a really nice day all round! I'll hopefully have some more lovely pictures by Harlow before the week is over to share with all of you cuties :)

but that's all for now~ <3 comment and follow beautifuls

"You know, I bet you're a real yo-yo!"

So this is my first ever blogger post, so bear with me if it's not up to standard.

On the weekend it was a dear friend of mine's birthday party, and she had the amazing idea of  making it "retro" theme. My partner decided he would go as James Dean to my 50's honey. My house mate is a big fan of the 50's/ vintage look and she was kind enough to give me one of her Hell Bunny dresses! She did my hair and make up as well, I felt like a real life Barbie Doll.
Our inspiration for the night:

It won't be the last of my pretty make-overs. Harlow is an extremely talented hair and make up artist and is working on her portfolio, and I'm her in house model! So keep your eyes peeled for more of her amazing work. You can find her HERE.
Adorably, a friend of mine decided that she would draw me because she loved this photo shoot so much, amazing isn't it!?
That's all for now lovelies, comment and subscribe! xx
